my suggestion: best meeting point in Barcelona is Canaletas at the Ramblas. Fun and party all time.

No, it's not a holiday

If you move in a centric area, you'll find one every 2 blocks.

To search them online:

Well, many of us have suggested Las Ramblas as a meeting point...

If you prefere to go on your own, I recomend Mirablau. It's a classic bar located in Tibidabo mountain. You'll have a nice view of the city from there.

For restaurants and tapas-bars, going to the Born area would be a good choice.

Andy and Lorenz: I don't wanna @#$%& here, but how is it that your FOS tickets say "Entrada General" (i.e. General Ticket or General Admission), just as mine, which really is (i.e. really paid) General Admission (i.e. 70 euros)?? Does it mean I have an FOS access ticket too? Or does it mean all the pitch is first to come-first served??

It would be great if you could post a scan of your ticket here (as I have no scanner, LOL!) to compare those print-outs...

I think it just means that both pitch sections are general admission, but the gates are different.

Here is what it says:

I'm sure it's FOS, don't know how they will handle the entrance...

this whole Barca situation is doing my head in

is there anywhere on ServiCaixa's website that gives us non-Spanish folks the lowdown on how we get our tickets ?

or are we all relying on word of mouth ?

it could be a disaster yawning smiley(

I have the same confirmation. And friends of mine as well. EUR 81.00 are FOS Tickets. There was a map/plan at time of booking. The Entrance will be "General". I guess... and then we have to "climb" into Front of Stage Area.
