Not sure if this has been discussed before but has anyone listened to Chuck's Sea Level band. I know there are many Chuck haters here but I have read some great things about this band. Pretty much every review I have read about them was great and they were compared to bands such as Steely Dan, who I love.

Thoughts, opinions??

That would have been Jimmy Nalls.

SEALEVEL was an awesome band and did a killer song called " Midnight Pass" back in the 70's. Very jazzy, Southern in a way, but with other influences thrown in.

I've seen Sea level probably a half a dozen times. Once at a small subterranean club in Raleigh, NC called The Pier. They absolutely cooked. I loved them. I also saw The Allman Brothers at least twice while Chuck was with them. I miss those days.

Weren't they one of the opening acts at the Hyde Park show in 1969?
