Prince Rupert Lowenstein

I realize he has retired from handling the Stones business affairs however does anyone know how he came to meet Jagger?

What did he bring to the table that enhanced their business tactics (large scale tours, huge guarantees from corporate sponsers, custom stage)?

Think Mick met the Prince (of what, BTW?) in the late 60's in London. Rupert was a commercial banker. The main thing he did for the Stones was straighten out their tax and Klein problems.

He was also the one who recommended they move to France for tax purposes.

Liechtenstein
Between Switzerland and Austria.
Like monte carlo, and Luxembourg, they have very low tax rates.

His nationality is England though he declares himself as scion of Prussian peer.
He is Mick's long-serving personal financial adviser.
He seems to have final approval for the negotiation with local promoter for inviting Stones.
You can still find his name in tour personnel of the program for ABB tour.

BTW, I met him in Toronto. A man of odd and sweet character.
