Hi,

I can't access the setup.exe on the CD, but I'd like to see the live videos. Can anyone help me out of this problem?

Thanks,
Rolling Vince

It's no problem if you have a pc with Windows 3.11 OS on it.

(Some of?) the newer editions of Stripped are coming without the bonus material.. So if you don´t have a quicktime logo on the top left corner of the back cover, there´s no bonus material on your CD..
My euro version with bonus material has catalog number:
7243 8 410402 3 CDV2801
Newer edition without bonus material:
7243 8 454382 2 CDVX2801

and yes, you´ll need an old PC to access the material (Win 3.1 or 3.11 will do with an old CD-ROM drive). If I remember correctly it used a standard that is no longer supported in newer operating systems (and maybe CD/DVD drives also)..
Can´t access it with WinXP. Did not try Win95 or 2000...

Hi
If You have Windows with a DOS mode (the last one was W98 I believe) You may try to copy the files from the cd to Your hard drive and then launch them. It worked for me about 8 years ago.

Well that's the way!
Use Ultra ISo to extract files from Cd,adn install Quick Time from this Cd,and use option /Program.exe/properties/Compatibility/Display Settings/Run in 256 colors.

The bonus material is on the first edition of the CD, you can see it on the sticker of the front cover or in the booklet.
On later re-issues of Stripped (versions post 1997), the bonus material is gone.
If you have the version with bonus material try this:

1. Download this patch
[s51.yousendit.com]

2. Make a back up of
the excisting version of C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS\SCSI1HLP.VXD
and copy the ZIP version into that place, restart your computer.

3. Select the 256 colour option (the multimedia programme will only run if your computer can display in 256 colours)

4. You can see it now

Note 1: Sadly all this doesn't work on XP, only on Windows 9x (95, 98, ME)
Note 2: Please replace the SCSI1HLP.VXD file with the original when you're done with the CD.
