You know that Let It Rock was listed as Bite My Clank, on the old Get Your Rocks Off TMOQ LP?
I was just watching Ladies & Gentlemen the other day. Before the show starts, you cna hear a guy saying "Bite my clank!". What the heck does it mean?
(I hope this won't be a zero-reply-post, even though it might deserve that)

Erik, that is quite a puzzle.

I consider myself quite versed in things that can be bitten, but this one has me scratching my head in confusion.

Thanks for answering..... but both of you are from America....what does "clank" mean?
And why would a bootleger (who probabøy couldn't remember the audience talking in L&G), think of that line "Bite my Clank"?

If you think this was a lame thread (T&A), call my lawyer.
Try to listen, the nest time you watch L&G, or the CDs like "You Can't Do That, Baby". It's loud and clear.

Found on the Internet

"Bite my clank." - As far as I know a new phrase has entered the American language. Iain Campbell mulled over possible origins and I agree with one of his theories: clank sound like crank, crank leads to crank shaft, shaft leads to penis. I have heard the phrase "bite my crank" on sitcoms so Parker seems to have acknowledged the fact that Sunny has somewhat different equipment.

That's a long story Nico, but thanks!

But it leads us to....why would anybody say "bite my penis" when the Stones are coming onstage?
....and why would the word "bite" be used about yer own penis? Aik!

Definitly an "Asianized" version of Bite My Crank which means Bite my (insert your favorite term for male appendage here). This terminology is obviously little used these days.

I didn't say "lame", I said "lamp" - just seemed like clank could be another term for "lamp post".....cheers!
