Ok, Time waits for no one, but time is also kinder to some (e.g. Mick, Chuck Berry) than others...
I saw Robin Trower (age 61) last night in concert, and he looked like my grandfather, who's been dead for years. He played his ass off though, so I'm glad I went. Any others you can think of who look every bit their age?...
Mouwnin' you too Ablett. Even if its soon lunchtime here. I meant drugs didnt do THAT to Iggy's sixpack, did they? All folks I know of incl. myself just got their brains damaged by any drug incl. booze.
On private TV there are all these ranking shows... last week there was the "Most successful Rock Groups".
Believe it or not, the Stones were at No. 4, haha.
Anyway, they rank at No 1 what they can have on stage and it was ...Deep Purple. Playing playback to Smoke on The water, haha.
Regarding the topic: They dug out the SWEET (without Brian Conolly of course) and the guitarist...man he really looked OLD. All these aging B-Rockstars have these thick heads and necks and big bellies. The Stones don´t have it.
To me the Stones don´t look old compared to those guys mentioned.

Johnny Winter. I saw him 5 years ago and I couldn't believe it. It took him 2 minutes to walk across the small stage of the theater in Falls Church, Virginia. When he finally reached the microphone stand, he paused for few seconds, and shouted his texan "yeahhhh". He looked so frail, so skinny. At first I thought he was high, but I don't think he was; just old and sick. But he played his ass off. It was weird to watch. He was amazing on slide guitar. It was a great show. Rock and rollmops
