He did on Licks. But he doesn't do it this tour. Personally I'm glad. I think it was an annoying sound. Great licks, though.

personally, i like the live JJ flash better without it (the sitar).

I think the reason behind this was to maybe create the sound of the actual record. I know that Jumpin' Jack Flash didn’t have a sitar in the studio version, but still... I can understand the reasoning behind it.

yeah, i can understand the reasoning behind it. The record version sounds like it could have had a sitar. i thought maybe it did but I guess not. it has that feel though. Live, i just prefer the two gituars on JJ F.

So T&A, did you compose that post before, or after you got back from the wine country?

Ah--just kidding! Glad to read it and coming from you, it is considerably more encouraging then, what could really be considered the "faint praise" that gets tossed around like a sea bass in Pike Place.

Maybe after playing this many shows, Ronnie is starting to regain muscle memory and some desparately needed dexterity--now, that would make the summer shows pretty interesting! Who knows, if the regain some confidence (cause they do not sound like a confident band mot of the time--imo) maybe that will translate into expanding the available set list.

Going to have to go check out Buenos Aires.
