There's no mystery. Bv is a regular guy like (most of) the rest of us. We might disagree strongly and passionately on what we want and expect from the Stones in 2006, but I've met him lots of times (usually by complete accident on the road somewhere like the lobby of the Staples Centre, parked next to me in a bar in New York or wandering the mean streets of Glasgow at around midnight looking in vain for a restaurant that might be still open) and he's a top bloke.

Takes a lot of effort to run a fan magazine for a quarter century (with a couple of years off in the mid 80s). I've been subscribing to it since 1983. A scary enough statistic!

Boys, boys, boys. We don't want any threats of violence here. I think, or rather hope, that I'm speaking for everyone. Keep it cool guys.

You should've told him to just get a kebab! They're the only places open after midnight!

Coincidence or what on the official rolling stones store if you purchase any goods and if you read the small print it is done through a company called 'concert products international BV.

Just a thought.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "bv" in this case the Dutch version of "inc" or "ltd"?

Well those questions are real easy...

> So what does it look like at IORR headquarters? Any Pics?

See below...

> How many people work there?

Only me. But many, many great friends help in a lot!

> What does it take to keep this website up and running?

Hours every day

> Have any of you at IORR been contacted by the Stones?

Yes.

> How many hours a week do you put in?

Many many every day

> What type of equipment do you use?

Laptop + internet + servers.

Typical IORR office:

How it looks at home right now:

I am not all that secret really.
But many people think I am a public person.
I don't like to have my private life published
like I am some sort of a lunatic or exhibit.
I am just a fan that happens to run the
oldest still in existing world-wide fan club
of the Rolling Stones. And a web etc.

Alright the man comes thru. You do maintain this whole site on your own. I thought we get a lot of snow, man it looks like January there. Does it ever thaw? I can appreciate your privacy.

Care to share any of those Stones contact stories with us?

Thanks BV for the peek, keep it comin brother.

Nice of you to answer Bjornulf. That indoor-picture, that's from a hotel somewhere. It must be. I've no idea why, but I also lay out all my money on the table when I'm at a hotel.
You got even more snow than I do, you should be out skiing today! Oh I forgot, you are in Japan at the moment.

BV-keep up the great work. The next time the Stones are in Montreal, anywhere on the East Coast or Las Vegas I will be happy to buy you a good dinner and plenty of good wine.

BV,

Another easy follow up question for you:

Have any of the members of the Stones actually checked out this forum that you have first hand knowledge of?

If so, what was their impression or thoughts on the content?

BV,

When does it get warm where you live? Any response to that Stones question from my last post?
