Thanks, you Stones Traveller you! I knew I could count on you for some back up! It was abso-friggin-lutely THE BEST EVER!!!! And Gimmee Shelter was right up there too (and so was Lisa's dress!!)

RCMH was great!!! Best ever is on Handsome Girls.

The 81 live versions are the ones I like most. But in any case both Shattered and Miss You are two songs where the studio version is better than the live ones.

First off, I love this song, live and studio.
But, on a visceral level, I have a really hard time
believing that to be the case.

The versions from this tour are, with all due respect
pale imitations of what they were in '78 and '81.

I do not have any boots of that tour--but Bill was in the band
and that is really, in my mind, what has changed, more then anything the sound.
