Man this 'hall' is so meaningless now that they may as well induct anyone that's heard a song of anyone in the 'hall'.

My induction will be coming soon.......watch this space....

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.

Not to bad for a heavy ex-Heroinist...

They showed a clip of Blondie on the NY 11pm news and Debra looked GOOD. She's lost weight (had a very thin waist) and looked like she was on top of her game /performance, I think it was Rapture. Come on man, she's doing better then Ann Wilson of HEART...."What a drag it is gettin' old".....

Ann Wilson has not discovered crystal meth yet.

Dear God....Blondie was on ABC Good Morning America a few minutes ago....hideous.

Absolutely horrible acoustic performance of a horrible song - "Heart of Glass" done on a National steel guitar.

Harry looked better than I thought, but they all reminded me of some old age pensioners talking about the gud ole daze....

They are going to be touring with the "New" version of the Cars....nuff said.

They don't even get a plaque. I've been there twice, and all I can say is that the museum is a total jumble of memorabilia. Half the inductees aren't represented at all, while some of the stuff on display is from people who haven't even been inducted. As far as I could tell, there is no roll call of the actual inductees in plain view. It's not like the sports halls of fame with plaques and busts of the players. It seems to me whoever donates their stuff can have it displayed. Fortunately the Stones had one of the better displays there.

Again you don't know what your talking about. AGAIN!!!!! Give it up. They don't get a plague. And Cleveland is a rocking, booming, clean, growing city. It has been for many years. You make me laugh. Keep practicing dude!

Sounds quite boring...glad I won't be seeing it....How can you NOT have the inductees reviewed so everyone can see them in one place before going into individual artists themselves?

There are much better excellent music museums in Memphis, Tennessee to go see. The Gibson Guitar Rock and Roll Museum and Stax Recording Studio Soul Music Museum are must-sees.... but Forget Sun Studio...its an Elvis souvineer rip-off.

That would be a pretty crappy reward for getting sworn in, to give them the plague. What that be the black plague or just the bird flu?

"Johnny Rotton = a middle aged rebel? Gimme a break. F**K the Pistols - THE CLASH RULE !!! The Clash HAD the attitude and the TALENT. Pistols had the attitude for a moment and NEVER had any talent - Bunch of Garbage !!"

i thought the fact that they chose to show it up for the corporate backslapping fest that it is was rather nice personally

its not being 'rebelious' its just being honest

its a ridiculous invention full of ridiculous people. and it has about as much to do with 'rock n roll' as Barbara Cartland

ps: the Clash were shit too

Kiss should definately be in the hall.

Some debate about Iggy Pop. I'm on the fence about this.

A lot of British progessive rock has been ignored. For example: Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Yes, etc. Don't know how I feel about this. Should be interesting when Rush becomes eligible.

Van Halen will be eligible soon. Should make for an interesting performance.

The Cars will breese through, and for good reason. One of the best of their era. Peter Gabriel should make it as well. He really should be in the hall, and there's no way Genesis is getting in.

Future Hall members (in my opinion):

- Van Halen
- Cars
- R.E.M.
- KISS
- Peter Gabriel
- Duran Duran
- Guns N' Roses (Unfortunately)
- Run-DMC
- Beastie Boys
- The Cure
- Public Enemy
- Nirvana
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Phish
- Metallica (not a fan, tho)
- Radiohead

she looks good for her age, but i think a bit

I think you're right. She is looking really young now, and I've seen pictures of her from a few years ago where she was looking really haggard. Good for her, however she did it.
