Never heard that explanation before; just thought it was because of
drug problems in the past etc... But that doesnt fit, because the
other Glim dude did get thru that part... Yeah; who would kneel?

Not so long ago people would post if he made a mistake. Apparently mistakes are now so common that people start posting almost in disbelieve that 'he nailed it' or 'didn't screw up an intro'.

My impression is that you have to shell over big $ in the form of a donations to be considered. I read a few years back that David Gilmour donated the proceeds of his house sale to charity, I don't remember the amount, but it was a lot. In the same article it mentioned that David ha 6 kids. I remember thinking, why is he not leaving the money to his children? Then someone mentioned that he might have done it so that he can get his Knighthood. But who knows, I'm sure the person who told me that has no idea, but I'm still waiting to see if David gets the offer.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I don't think there's anyone in the British "establishment" that would even dream of supporting the idea of Queenie bestowing a gong on Keith; it would be unthinkable. Keith has made his views so plain that the mere notion of honouring him doesn't even bear thinking about; KR's reaction to the news that he'd been awarded one would probably rock the establishment to its core and it would never recover. Don't even go there - too bloody dangerous. The resulting explosion wouldn't be worth the effort of trying to honour him with a gong, he just doesn't wanna know about it ! I don't think he's beyond accepting "recognition" of what he and the band in general have accomplished, but he sees his legacy as some good songs - that's it. Not a "$%^%&&ing bit of scrap iron" to leave the kids when he's gone ! (My words - not HIS)

Great to hear that he played really really well last nite--that's excellent.

Before, losing credibility and calling it his "peak", maybe check out some shows from '69-'82.

Just a suggestion.

My lil moony Simpson was aimed at Koen´s comment,
so that no one misunderstands.

The setlist is perfectly tied for a giant Keith anyway. If someone knows if a DVD is available, would be interested.
