Has anyone heard Metallica's new cover of the Bob Seger song "Turn The Page"?

I actually like it . It think might actually be better than the origional.

Hi Ryan smiling smiley. It does totally rock. I dig Metallica. It's not a new cover though. I knew they did it awhile back but I wasn't sure so I dug up this little tidbit for you:

21 Oct 1998
Metallica spent Wednesday the 21st recording the video for their version of Bob Seger's Turn The Page from the upcoming Garage Inc. album. The clip is directed by Swedish director Jonas Akerlund, who also filmed Madonna's Ray of Light video and Prodigy´s Smack my Bitch. It all took place at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.

It's on Garage Inc. their covers album. If you liked that one wait until you hear Whiskey In The Jar. I love Metallica. Can't wait for their next album.

I'm hoping they'll be opening for some shows in Europe. Not the same without Cliff Burton, but they rock hard as hell anyway.

That would be awesome! They are going to play a few concerts this year. It's the new Escape From The Studio Tour! I hope they play a new song, oh and since they will be inducting Black Sabbath into the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame maybe they'll play a Sabbath song too. That would be perfect!

Oh god oh god! I like Black Sabbath even more than Metallica!! But I can still see Metallica live, so that's in their favor. Here's some more interesting useless factoid about Metallica:

14 Jan 99
Metallica filed a lawsuit against Victoria's Secret and Victoria's Secret Catalogue, citing trademark infringement, false designation of origin, unfair competition, and dilution.
The following is from the lawsuit: "Victoria's Secret manufactures and sells lip pencils bearing the mark Metallica. The packaging for Victoria's Secret's Metallica lip pencils also bear the mark Metallica. These lip pencils continue to be sold by Victoria's Secret throughout the United States.

Are you going to Europe for any shows?

I wish I could do that. They are playing in South Africa, for the first time ever, in a few weeks. It should be interesting.

You can do anything you set your heart on. You can be one of the people in life who does or the other kind who just talks or dreams about doing it. DO IT if that's what you want man.

The tickets for the Europe shows are dirt cheap compared to what they were selling for in the States. C'mon now Keith The Beast. You know you want to go.

I saw them open for the stones this tour in SF. It was cool. they played all their hits. there was lots of air gutiar during their songs and high fives after each song. at least in my section.

I like ho you think. I suppose you're right. But I rather wait for them to come closer to where I am, maybe in ther next tour. I have a good feeling about it. I hope the next tour is a kick ass world tour. I think this next shows are going to inspire them.
