Remeber when Mick Jagger sang the theme song to "Ruthless People" starring Danny De Vito, Bed Middler and THE Judge Reinhold? The opening of that movie has a cartoon sequence. It looks like the same guy who did that did the artwork for Dirtywork.

I always thought Ruthless People was a pretty decent tune - funky.

Oh yeah, back to the topic. I like Ruthless People a lot. The movie was pretty funny, too.

I liked the movie, especially the part when Danny DeVito says "I'm sorry she can't come to the phone right now ..............."

I wonder if this is how Mick hooked up with Anita for the She Was Hot video. I can't remember the timing of that movie and that video, although I think the video came about first.


I have to admit, I think the song is crap though. Other than "Hey - Get Up, Ruthless People" I can't remember one more note or lyric.

Ruthless People came out in '86 (I cheated and looked it up on imdb)

another funny scene is when Judge Rienhold is at the drop off point surrounded by the swat team and hes in a clown suit and bill pulman drives up. Judge Rienhold says "WHAT the HELL are you DOING". and Bill pullman goes "Im ROBBING YOU!" and then the swat team fires a shot and pullmans goes "Who did that? Who Is that"
and the cop goes " I think this may very well be the stupidest person on the face of the earth" then they draw thier guns and he goes "were the national riffle association!"

Hey Ryan, that was a good scene too. I haven't seen that movie in 100 years. I should watch it again.

I always remember the scene with the mug being thrown across the room and hitting Judge Reinhold in the nose. There's somethign about seeing someone else in pain that makes me laugh (as long as it's not serious pain).
