HOW MANY HERE ARE GOING TO ROBIN HOOD BENEFIT?

I have a chance at a single seat for this March 14th show at Radio City and was wondering how many of my IORR " buddies" are going or are considering it. The seat is a $500 second Mezzanine row F seat in section 3 and I know it's a terrible seat but exactly HOW BAD, I don't know. Any thoughts? Is this a glitzy affair? I know there's an open bar from 7:30-8pm and no opening act has been named to replace the ailing Sheryl Crow.

I'm not anyone's "buddy" here but I will be there with bells and a tiara on. If you have the chance to pick up the ticket, you should do so. You won't be sorry as you can't go wrong in a theatre as previously mentioned. It is a glitzy affair but I fancy that you know how to appropriately dress for such an event.

WRONG WRONG WRONG! Every seat in RCMH is a good seat, great sound, great sight lines, no obstructed views. Nothing at all wrong with 2nd Mezzanine seats! I have seen many great shows here from 2nd and 3rd Mezzanine, no worries!

I'm going. I'm in the 3rd mezzanine. 2nd mezzanine isn't a bad seat at all, like has been said already, there's no bad seat at RCMH. It's an absolutely beautiful place.

They've said there's no dress code specific for the event, but you might want to doublecheck, as no doubt most of the audience will be bigspenders, celebrities etc...

Watch out.Half the people on this board are now probably trying to get $7,000 concert tickets, buying flowers, baking muffins, and writing poetry.

Thanks for all of the advice! I may pass because I know they're returning in the fall and at least I can get alot closer there. I've been to shows at RCMH and although it is beautiful, the entire event will end up costing a ton but more than that, I'm betting the set list will be very conservative, nothing too exciting because of the rich folks who could care less sitting in the front! Why waste a great set list on them, is how I think the band may be thinking.

I could still change my mind ten times until the 14th, especialy if my " bodyguard" buys my ticket!

What do you know about The Stones returning in the Fall?

Debra,

I live just outside of the city near Yonkers and I am trying to get a solo ticket for myself. I could pay $250 right now but $500 will push me to the limit.

I have heard that it's for sure, they Stones tour will not end until Dec of this year, ending in the USA. ( Can't say how I know) But this is not a secret, StonesDoug has said it too, I believe, and if not Doug it may have been BV who said it as a fact, not a rumor. Charles, I don't have a seat for sale, I have a chance to BUY a single and have been not able to decide, YET.

Radio City is beautiful but doesn't have great sound.
