I would lik to hear LIS with Keith on vocals live.
The version that once was posted here at IORR was just gorgeous.
Or a shared mic...

Sad but true, this will never happen most probably. A few 100 future live versions of Brown Sugar are more likely ;-)

I don't understand why they don't play this song more often either.
Great song that works well live and even casual fans know it. ( I think).

Love is strong isn't a brilliant song, but it would be more than welcome in order to mix up the static setlists with all these warhorses.MEZ

and Ay ay baby it hurts

Exactly right--why not mix it up a bit with the songs that everyone knows.

For example--why not substitute it for Miss You, once in a while?

There are other viable substitutions--that is just the first one I thought of.

'Miss You' is pretty much a 'lock' as its performed at what is a pivotal point in the show. A possible reason for choosing that one being its length which allows them time to get out to the b-stage. I think they only dropped it at the Hollywood Bowl shows because there was no actual b-stage. You can bet it'll be played at every show that has that 'gimmick'.

All casual fans are different. I was in a coffee shop the other day with a friend who could be described as a "casual fan" at best. The barista put in Goats Head Soup (much to my dismay) and my friend knew every word to Dancing with mr. D! this is a guy who didn't even know gimme shelter when i played it at home!

Knew every word to Dancing with Mr D and didn't know Gimme Shelter?
That almost seems hard to do.

Love Is Strong is a much better choice than You Got Me Rocking to represent Voodoo Lounge. The music video received quite a bit of play in the '90's so,there should be casual fans that recognize it.

It rocked in Chicago. It was the highlight for me.
