if the Stones were to do a CD of covers.... What would you hope to hear?

Read that Bruce Springsteen next CD will be covers only. That got me to thinking about the Stones doing a covers only (CD). What songs would you like to see them cover? This is a few that I would like:
All along the Watchtower
I wish it would Rain
I can't stand the Rain
Trent Reznor's Hurt (done by Keith)
We have all the Time in the World (Another one that Keith could do.)
Numerous Blues including:
Poor Boy
Come on in my Kitchen
Crossroads

I would like to hear some of the cover songs they rehearsed in Toronto last year, like "Rainy Day Women", "Lonely Avenue", "I'm Ready", "Hoochie Coochie Man"...

Jagger's just convincing to me in conveying the proper emotion for doing Dylan songs, at least as evidenced by his butchery on LARS. I hope not to hear anymore Stones-to-Dylan tunes, frankly.

Keith could even throw kisses, towards the camera, to seem more queer, during the song. That would be great!

dj...after I posted that, I thought about all the words and wished I had suggested a different tune. I used to know all the words and it aint easy. I can picture Mick singing the first lines, though. "Early one morning, the sun was rising, I was a-laying in bed, wondering if she'd changed at all, if her hair was still red..."

Good point.

Stones In My Passway -Robert Johnson. They should actually do it as their last thing, and bring in Wyman and Taylor as well...

Leonard Keringer mentioned Keith doing Tom Waites: "Blind Love." I would love to heard him doing that one! What about Dylan's " Not Dark Yet."

I go for a record with more know songs (not necessarily need to be nr. 1 hits)

Good sample is David Bowie what he did on Pin Up

1. Rosalyn
2. Here Comes the Night
3. I Wish You Would
4. See Emily Play
5. Everything's Alright
6. I Can't Explain
7. Friday on My Mind
8. Sorrow
9. Don't Bring Me Down
10. Shapes of Things
11. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere
12. Where Have All the Good Times Gone

I'd like to hear Mick singing Eddie Cochran's Jeanie Jeanie Jeanie and some old Buddy Holly rockers. I also think they could do great things with that old Linda Ronstadt song "Tumblin Dice".

NICOS what a great idea! I love Sorrow. I bet they could do a rocking version of Panic in Detroit. Lisa could belt that one out I bet, and Darryl could do a funky bass. That could rock live. They should have done that at the Superbowl! (ok, i'm dreaming now)
