Ratcat? I loved "That Ain't Bad", which was a blip on the radar in the U.S. about 15 years ago. Never heard anything else by them - I'll look for Blind Love.
Underrated: "Between the Buttons", "Their Satanic Majesties" and "Black and Blue". Maybe their three most experimental albums.
Overrated: "Exile" (great, but too long, with some filler here and there, and hardly their best ever -- maybe even the weakest of the 1968-1972 period), "Some Girls" (very good, but not the masterpiece everybody says it is) and "A Bigger Bang" (good, but generic and with no instant classics).
No way.Exile had maybe one or two "filler" tracks but,it also has their best tracks. It doesn't get any better than Soul Survivor,Ventilator Blues,Shine A Light,Rip This Joint,Let It Loose etc.
Emotional Rescue, Under, It is a great album, Classic. Dirty work, I like what the other gentleman said before, giving it any aclaim at all is being pretty nice.
One Hit & Sleep Tonight deserve more acclaim. There are also some other decent tracks although the '80's production and the fact that they left off some tracks that were better than some that made it hurt the album.I suppose that they felt a Stones album needed to consist of at least 80% Jagger lead vocal songs.
