keith didn't want to high five him... keith seemed to be like "are you serious? well we're on stage in front of 500,000, I guess I have to"... timberlake thought keith was protecting him after some fans were throwing bottles on stage...
in keith's interview after the show, he said that he didn't want anyone throwing things at his band but if they had good aim to go ahead and smack timberlake.

yeah, my younger brother is a big fan of timberlake, and he kept on gloating that to me, until i showed him the interview.

Wow did he say this?! I didn't expect him to trash Timberlake like that after he let him sing on stage with the stones. I mean if he had a real problem with it, it wouldn't have happened i think.

Well, what do you know. A Timberlake fan on a Stones website!
I don't think Keith was serious about that comment. He was very upset at the people throwing stuff at him. They just played together and Keith was defending him on stage. The high five was good. It showed mutual respect as artists and human beings. Only a ass would throw stuff at someone else because they didn't like them.
Does Keith 5 fiving Justin hurt his manhood or coolness?
In 30 years of following the Stones, and basically being Happy with anything and everything they've done, inviting Timberlake onstage with them is beyond my comprehension. Worst moment ever, and completely indefensible in my opinion.

hahahaha lol. Don't worry J.J.Flash i'm not a Timberlake fan. I don't see how you could have taken that from my post. But to be honest he has a couple of numbers that i don't mind listening to ones in a while.
I like the DVD because of the backstage stuff, and because ACDC is so damn consistent, esp. that rhythm section. Of course, if you hate warhorses, the Stones are improvisors compared to ACDC. I've seen them twice, 10 years apart, and I swear it was the same show!

I hope he was just upset and didn't say that seriously! It wouldn't be cool to say that about anyone who's played with them!..

J.J. - you mean the bluesy roots from when he was in the Mickey Mouse Club?
Didn't Howlin' Wolf get his start in the Mickey Mouse Club?

Okay, I don't know how this happened, but I LOVE the Rock Your Body song. I remember laughing at my friends when it first came out, saying "you like that crap!". But somehow, it worked it's magic on me, and I like it now.
I think it was probably because he did such a great job on SNL. He was actually really funny. I was impressed, and I don't say that often.
Just for the record though, I don't think he's cute, or hot or anything.

Hi said that tounge in cheek. It was pretty obvious. All the performers were there save save Toronto. Give the city alittle cash. All the prformers were there for the same reason. hey if you want to see something to make you puke. Watch the Flamming lips. if the boys brought them on satge to play wth them i would of moved to Mars.
Actually I enjoyed his SNL acting as well. He did a good job of impersonating Jessica Simpson. He can be a comedian as far as I'm concerned but his music sucks.
"Gonna Have you nekkid by the end of this song".....puke......sounds like a 15-year old boy's wet dream.
#......Go ahead....Bite the Big Apple....Don't mind the Maggots.....Uh Huh...#
