Sweetheart - I'm glad you're not with that guy anymore. You went through the pregnancies and childbirth and he wouldn't let you name them? What an ass!
Your new husband sounds much better! I'm happy for you.

I wanted to name my son Keith, but my husband wasn't crazy about it. I think he was always a little jealous about the fact that I liked Keith Richards more than him, so I gave in and we compromised.

SweetH, sounds like you found a good man. I took my wife to a Stones concert for our first date. She should have known I was serious!!! Told her our dates would be downhill from then on.

Something very much the same. I took my X-Husband to London and paid for everything, Cost like 2000.00. We went to Wembley and he didn't want to sit with me. Some guy asked me if I was lonely and would like to go to the Gold Circle and see The Stones, so I did. After 2 beers I remembered my X. lol I got him into the Gold Cirlce as well as my current husband, Steve J. We were right on the front over the metal bar. My x had his back turned from the stage the entire time, I wasn't allowed to go to the after parties. What a lovely plane ride home. I did take 2000.00 out of his bank acct. I then got divorced and we just didn't match up.

I am very happy at this time with my husband and so looking forward to moving to London, England. Less than a week today we go for 10 days. smiling smiley

Maybe somebody has this picture and can post it here. But, I remember a few years back seeing a pic of a US neighborhood intersection with the crossing streets signs where "Keith" intersected with "Richards" street. I always thought that was pretty cool.

I too tried the Keith Richard thing and like you, never made it past the wife.
I also tried McKinley Morganfield and that didn't work either.

'Anyone else named their kids after the Stones?'

Yes.

In November 2002, when my third child (a boy) was born, I named him 'The Stones.'

The Stones Scaffer.

A fine, strapping lad.

Of course, choosing such a name for one's offspring would be illegal in most countries in Western Europe.

... But then, what ISN'T illegal in most countries in Western Europop?

Well Roll was asleep under the back wheel of ma car one day when I jumped in it and started to reverse....but sadly I couldn't save him. Roll was only about 8 weeks old but Rock the ole black devil, even though he walked side ways...had rotten teeth and looked like a crumbled velvet handbag lived to a very-very old age.

Aw come on, is that really illegal? In the USA we can name a child Turd On The Run if we want. Frank Zappa named one of his beautiful daughters Moon Unit. A cool name, I might add.

Someone named "Skippy" who used to post frequently on this board named three sons: Charles, Michael and Keith named after "the boys" he said. I am pretty sure those were their names......"Skippy" are ya' out there?
