Zurich gone?

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but Zurich has now been removed from the list on rs.com

Anyone know anything about this? I'd just like to know what's going on with this European schedule!

It dissappeared today. But there were rumours about a press conference on February 23 and Pre Sale on February 27. But it seems that rumours are rumours. Sadly.

A lot of shows have been also recently removed on the IORR list. It might mean that we will have a "small" ABB European leg, compared to 40 licks.

We are talking about the list on rs.com not on iorr.org. Zurich is gone. But I still hope....

Sorry did not see the first threat!!!

As I said on rs.com as long as Germans are so reluctant to buy tickets the Swiss mostly have to wait for the concert.
It was always like that. Only when the Germany concerts sold out well, the swiss benefit from that.
So come on fans in Germany throw in a couple of 1000 Euros and buy some extra tickets to let this happen.....

isnt it great the way rs.com will update you with whats new in the wonderful world of tacky t-shirt offers but when it comes to a news section, they'll remove dates from the tour schedule willy-nilly without even mentioning it and hoping you didnt notice they were actually there to behin with?

Still, what do you expect for only $100 a year?

Funny. But instead of the german concerts of U2 (example), Zurich U2 was completely sold out. You could not get cheap tickets at the stadium, only very espensive ones of scalpers. Even 10 min. after the beginning. But in Berlin tickets were sold for 10 Euros.

Even Robbie Williams' 2 (!) concerts in Bern are sold out this summer.

I don't think that's the problem Waiting till the german concerts are sold out. No !I guess it's a problem with the promoter Good News. Money $$$$$

Yes - great indeed! And I've also only been waiting for a refund for over two months (though they are supposed to take "UP TO" 30 days). My recent inquiry as to the fate of those refunds elicited the reply below. Why does it take so long to verify that a code hasn't been used when verification the other way round would no doubt take literally seconds??!!

Greetings,

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. We are just waiting for ticket agent to verify that your passcode was not used. Once we receive this information, we will process your refund request immediately.

Best regards,

Mariannerl I totally agree. Goodnews sucks as always.
I wrote them so many e-mails that they should be piss.. from me.
But they always respond to me with a sneaky, weaky reply.

One thing is clear. Only once Samy Schmid or any other President will support a concert, if this is not happening there will be no support at all again.

very sad to see Zurich disappear from RS.com, but as I recall during Licks they didn't sell out there (or if they did, it was just barely). If the Stones are demanding more $$ this time, I could see how GoodNews or any other promoter might get cold feet. Let's hope things change, they have to fill that open Saturday date somewhere!

Zurich was sold out and you even had to pay higher entry prices for seats which were offered just before the show.
It's a weekend so everybody would have time. However it's also in the midst of the Holidays in Switzerland. The same is also for Germany where a lot of people will be on Holidays. There are a lot of people who would go if it's in their time frame, but definetely NOT if it's to much effort.

One might have booked flights, hotels,...There is no refund with certain low-fare airlines.
This time they have gone too far with all the money-making thing.

Yep. It seems that they will stick to the first announced list. Except if Rio has an international massive impact.
