RS Merchandise -The Passport Collection

I've criticized and knocked, the RS merchandice/t-shirts in the past, but i will give credit, where credits due.
The new Passport collection, featuring football-themed designs for Mexico, and tasteful tongue designs, for Argentina and Puerto Rico, is a revelation and a very welcome turn of events.
Have they sacked there old designer and brought in new blood, or something?

Oh yeah, had it too.
Nice shirts indeed !

The one for Mexico could have been designed for the 1975 TOTA !!! Looking really like an old vintage stuff.

Brasil is very nice too.

Shockingly simple and good after the tacky garbage they have been selling.

Thanksgiving shirt? Ha! Super Bowl-themed shirts? Ha!

The Argentina shirt, especially, is so pure and right.

Why buy a T to an event you don't attend. I guess I could buy Rio, and when people ask me about it, I could say "Rio's a crazy place, and there were over 1 million people, and I didn't see a thing!" and it would all be true.

so that you can pretend that you were

Stand in the crowd at a show this summer in Europe with a "rio" or "Tokyo" t-shirt and people will point to you (mind you, in my case, they do that already..)

A wonderful gift for the egomaniac in your life!

just received an email from our "friends" (ahem...) at RS.COM, advertising the
"Passport Collection" Volume 5.

They are trying to sell a Milan "opening night combo" of a tshirt, an Italian flag pin and a poster for $43.
The t-shirt design, cannot as yet be shown, as it's (ahem....get this)
"top secret", and can't be revealed until the day of the show.

In other words they're trying to flog a t-shirt,
that they haven't got round to designing yet.

-any mugs? (sorry.... i mean takers)

maybe they havent figured out what the colours of the Italian flag is yet

Dontcha just love the intrigue of this 'top secret' thing. You'd think they'd just solved the riddle of the sphinx or split the atom or something

My favourite definition of Chutzpah was that given by bill bryson in one of his books..."take a person who kills both his parents and at his trial, appeals for clemency on the grounds that he's an orphan. THAT'S Chutzpah"

they're still trying to sell "July 4th US Independence" t-shirts
to non- US residents and Milan opening night t-shirts
(btw, what happened to the Milan shirt being " top secret" and not revealed till the day of the show?)

What's wrong with these imbeciles?

Well I wont be buying any T shirts that cost more than $32

Not paying import duty + 17.5% Vat on cost of goods and shipping + £8 collection fee .

Thanks but no thanks.

Dont like the Football ones anyway.

There are a couple on their site that take my fancy but as I said above too damned expensive once I add on all the charges.
