Robbie Williams is more popular than the Stones in the UK and so are a load more shit acts . Being popular doesn't necessarily make you any good. Macca is a pop performer - the Stones are rock.

In 2003 McCartney played Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg for 30.000 something. It wasn´t sold out. In 2006 Stones is selling out 55.000 tickets in an hour or so. The 2003 tour was sold out in a snap too.


Stones and McCartney is not playing in the same league and everybody knows it. You don´t see anybody starting threads like this:

Stones are more popular than Paul M. in Sweeden.3 weeks at nr.1 with ABB.
