i felt 'obligated' to take my girlfriend and go broke. although she claims that she enjoyed it and she probably did, it sure as hell would have been easier on the pocketbook than to shell out $450 just because i want to go to a concert.

next time though....

Your girlfriend is very nice, although had I known at the time about her shocking taste in music I may have had a quiet word with her at that Ronnie Wood show....

You should move to America. Never mind our mad Texans, we have great seats. Drake and I got great tickets to Atlanta for $125 each on e-bay. They were on the side of the stage, section 215, but afforded a great view. They said "obstructed viewing" but weren't in the least bit obstructed. Also, Ali Landry was in our section. Just kidding, but there were some fine lookin' ladies. They said they go crazy 4 a Brit accent and rock trivia!

"The average ticket price for the Stones' Wembley shows will be considerably higher than the average ticket for any Premiership club".

Gazza, that's fair! Everyone goes to see a great football game feeling insecure. "God... Will we win or lose?". But paying a ticket price for the Stones everyone is buying some security. "Our team" will win for sure. OK, in the worst case we'll hear two weak versions. Even then the final result will be 18:2. Seems like "England - Malta" in 1910 or 1920. Think about it...
