What an upset victory for the Stones. They looked great, and the set choices worked out very well. Ronnie came through (*breathes sigh of relief*) and looked cool out there with the slide.

Right on Ronnie! Great swaggering lead. Not technically brilliant, but incredible energy and a spectacular raw sound!

I loved the raw sound, the spectacular, uncluttered stage, the fiery performance, the absence of distracting effects, the setlist that dipped into three distinct eras, and even how the boys were dressed.

It should have been longer . . . they should have come back for an encore.

The stage was bloody fantastic they should use that stage for indoor arena shows sound never comes through TV great but a great performance hats off to the Stones they were great

Agree, smashing visceral rock & roll, and I'd been bored to death waiting, plus expecting to be disappointed (& indeed I was furious for half of SMU) - 12 minutes way too short for sure, but for somehow the Stones made me feel alive, again.

Really really cool! The boys dun good! Nay, great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great job! Far exceeded my expectations. Rough Justice kicked ass.

A spectacular halftime Performance. The STONES show why they're still at the TOP of the Rock 'n Roll World....even in their 60's. Love that Tougue shaped stage. Would be great for an Arena!

The sound levels seemed to increase during Start Me Up. The Soundman dialed them in perfect for Rough Justice. Mick's remark about the last song: Satisfaction could have been played at Super Bowl I was COOL! The extended jam on Satisfaction put them over the TOP!

The crowd in the middle of the tougue were really into in. All the Fans were having a blast. One more song would have been perfect!

Really was superb IMO! The stage (for you production people) was really kick ass!

I did have the unfortunate experience of being at a party (apparently being the only Stones fan in the crowd) where a chick (in her mid 30's, slightly overweight, and only moderately attractive) had to essentially talk through the entire performance as she was taken aback by the appearances of Mick, Keith, Ron and Charlie regarding their age and "how skinny they all looked!" I almost had to make a comment that who did she think she was watching, the Stones or INSYNC???
This was quite a chore for me to be the gentlemen I'm known for being (given the fact that I was also the only person at the party wearing a Stones T-shirt). Anyway, thought I'd share, but one dude at our gathering made mention of Rough Justice, "Is that a new song"? "It sounds very hip and bluesey" Nice to know that RJ still hits the mark for some folks on the periphery

Just on the CNN website they mention the censors bleeping Start Me Up and Rough Justice. It also says the Stones probably didn't mind and that they put on a mediocre performance!!! WTF!!!
