great job.

the stage was awesome.

they sounded great and i think it was a good idea in retrospect to play the event. They may have bought themselves a few new fans and/or brought back some old ones.

It looked like Mick hadnt finished his joke yet when keith started satisfaction. I wonder what else he was going to say?

back to the game now.

I like what I saw but not what I heard(or not heard for most of SMU).....

And Jan Richards is right about the stage....

Mick looked absolutely great, but he sounded a little out of breath, which is very uncharacteristic for him.

I liked Keith's guitar tone being right upfront, but it really highlighted his inconsistent sense of timing (as of late, anyway).

Overall it was a little disappointing.

Rough Justice was terrific. Low down dirty sound. Ronnie a bit down in the mix early, but they brought him back up later. I thought the 3 song set was impressive. ABC even blipped out lyrics in Start Me Up and in Rough Justice! This country is so strange. Anyway the Stones did themselves and their fans proud at half time. It was great turned up loud in stereo.

Top performance...

i was very sceptical about the whole Stones/NFL Thing...I Thought it just wouldn`t fit, but the halftimeperformance blew me away, man..

Fantastic stage design...super light show..and @#$%& awesome brilliant Rolling Stones...playing the 3 songs (Star me up, Rough Justice, Satisfaction) as it was their first gig ever and as their lives depend on it..
and the crowd atmosphere ( especially the jumping & screaming fans around the stage) was working so fine , they made me think that this was already the beginn of the Buenos Aires gigs.

Conclusion....watching this 12 minutes performance made my Stones blood boil until Flashpoint....

Just 110 days till Barcelona....

They nailed it.

Even for the Stones, it must be nerve-wracking to perform in front of 1/5 of the world. They showed what rock was all about. Sure there were the random wrong notes, miscues, and a rough mix at times, but they did extraordinarily well.

I think the raw version of Start Me Up will go a long way toward attracting a whole new generation of young fans!!

It was ok, I was dissapointed they didn't play a Motown song, Ain't To Proud To Beg.

The stage was probably one of the nicest I've ever seen.
