Favourite bootleg cover

Well, there's SO many threads about "your favourite....", but I don't think this has been tried yet.

My favourites (trying to keep it under 3 titles):
"Winter Tour 1973" (the Stout cartoon)
"Jack Daniel's On Tour" (the backside, that is)
"Timeless 73" (such a cool photosession, especially Keith)

They're good looking!
There are so many other great ones too, that it would be cool to make a wallpaper (not on the PC, but "on walls") out of it. Lots of small photos.
Rockman out to get online. He probably have some nice covers, too.

hey Erik....Sticky Fingers magazine used to sell a Stones bootleg poster with about 40 to 50 pics of the fans favorite boot covers

Yeah, come to think of it, I have seen that poster, as low-quality scan, only.
Are the Sticky Fingers closed down, Leonard?

yeah...i think somebody mentioned it on a previous thread....the publisher (who actually lives in an L.A. suburb)had a house fire and it set him back financially, leading to the demise of this excellent bootleg magazine

Has anyone got 'A Stone In My Shoe'? If so where was it recorded? Cheers.

If you mean the CD "A Stone In My Shoe" (VGP), then:
Cobo Hall, Detroit, Michigan, July 28th 1975.
17 tracks, Very good soundboard recording, "Midnight Rambler" from audience source.
Bonus tracks from El Mocambo '77.

I'll agree with the Stout cover of Welcome to New York.My copy is on a pink insert which looked so good I had to have a t-shirt made of it(am I a nerd or what?).Whenever I wear that shirt(infrequently)people just stare at it trying to figure out what the hell it is.Sure do miss that disposable income......

Oh, the LP. I've seen it somewhere. It's from Los Angeles I think. Could somebody give the dates?

It says on the record sleeve 1983, but it does'nt give any more info. On the front it says The Glimmer Twins, A Stone In My Shoe with a picture of Mick and Keith in front of a man wearing a black jacket with the wording, 'When I die I'll go to heaven, because I've spent my time in hell. Sorry, can't be anymore specific.

Oh my, oh my!
That's a good wallpaper, Rockman! Thanks! I think I'll save that one.
He-he, I've never seen the "Laid in the Shade"-cover before. I wonder if it is the basic photo, and they have re-done it for "Made..."? Or if they just found a woman who looked alike, and gave her instructions...?
