Stones in Argentina is like Stones in the States back on 1978 or 1981, but with more passion and with more young crowd. Believe it or no, they're more influential here than U2, Coldplay or any current band, let alone the rap crap that nobody knows here.

thats because we see the stones just a few times, anyway we love music, we got passion for music, almost all rock n roll shows are crazy, thats because the crowd is young and they have a lot of energy, we love the stones, we cant wait for the shows!, only 18 days until 21st of feb!!!!!!!! there will be a tv broadcast so you will see again another show from Argentina!

georgelicks and SeNdEr, i think from a cultural, psychological and ethnological point of view Argentina is the most "european" country of South America, right? I suppose this element explaines a lot about the popularity of the Stones in Argentina. Also, as SeNdEr says, Argentina discovered the greatness of the live act named "Rolling Stones" just 11 years ago. I mean, noone is satiated with them, yet. If in the USA, West and North Europe (places where the Stones have played about ...1.000 times) million of people want to see them once again, even paying for so expensive tickets, i can understand what happens in Argentina.

You deserve more Stones shows. I wish i was in Buenos Aires. But i can't. Oh, i hope next time the Stones will play not River Plate's but Boca Junior's stadium. And then i will be there!!! BJ is my favorite agrentinian football club.

Argentina discovered the Stones long time ago, but we had a lot of monetary problems, we had military dictatorship and so on and we couldnt hear foreigners bands for more than 10 years..., i think Argentina discovered the Stones on Flashpoint, and Lets Spend The Night Together (the movie)

In my country, Greece, a Stones concert in April 1967 is still mentioned as the last great cultural event before our military dictatorship (April 1967, four days after the concert - July 1974). Second Stones concert in Greece? In 1998! Long time...

never seen the Stones in Argentina, but i saw them in Barcelona in '03, and am doing so again on May 27th.

1990, 1995, 2003.

Coimbra 2003 was simply incredible. I'll never forget when the stadium gates opened.... And the shows was one of the hottest of the whole tour.

I Think the latin crowds are the best... Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain..
I´m brazilian and will be at Monumental de Nuñes, Buenos Aires, February 21st and 23rd!!! I´m 22 and these will be the first Stones concerts I´ll see live!! I can´t wait!!
