I have a list of recorded but "unreleased" Stones tracks. I already have about 20 of them, from you guys all posting. If you are willing to post any of these, Or respond to thread with feedback on any of the tunes. Are any KILLER that one simply NEEDS? Are some simply garbage? Or if can't post, but have some on discs, are you willing to Email or trade let me know as well. I'm still a newbie, but I need more & more & more Stones!!! I think, Live Breathe Stones! Warning its an extensive list I came across, but if my fingers can tolerate its well worth a shot to gather more music from fellow diehards. Again simply feedback on which ones even worth pursuing or the best & worst of the bunch. If you have & are willing to post / share thank you very much. I'm quite sure many here would appreciate as well

umm ... Looking Tired is based on 32-20 Blues, but that doesn't mean there's no Stones rendition of 32-20 itself.
i own two fragmentary versions, one by Keith solo and one by the band.

That's part of the confussion the bootleggers delivered over the years.

This is song is called "CAN'T BELIEVE" - it was planned as the B-side for the unreleased "English Summer"-single.

"Get Yourself Together" and "I Can See It" - both titles were "invented" by bootleggers.

Cheers

MEZ, I've got "Petrol Gang" on a SG outtake and "Highway Child/Star" on an Exile outtake. E-mail me to remind me and I'll burn these for you. Recording quality is poor to fair (it was Nellcote 1971, remember).

... Highway Child/Star?
is that the same Highway Child from 1968, probably recorded at Redlands? the one that some people goofily say features Mick on guitar?

Maybe so, I've got it on an Exile outtake. Could have been recorded at Redlnads or even Stargroves. Good song. Coulda/shoulda been finished and released.

No, the name of the track is called "Get Yourself Together"

It was recorded August 1966, at RCA Studios, Los Angeles.

"Get Yourself Together" was released officially in 1994 by The Chesterfield Kings under the title "Can’t Believe It. "

cool, Elmo Lewis - where does the "Star" come from in the title, though?
here's the Highway Child i know and love - recorded in 68, probably at Redlands:

(and it ain't Mick on guitar - i have no idea where that notion got started)

withsssoul, I must be getting the title mixed up with Deep Purple. My CD doesn't have any titles, so I'm guessing. This was back in Mick's mush-mouth days. Hard to understand some of the lyrics.

No, there's an 1-sided acetate with 6 tracks from the November'66-session in London which says "Can't Believe" on the label. I know that even Nico has the "Got Yourself Together"-title on his web-site but I think there's still no proof for this title - I prefer to believe what's written on the disc-label.
