I know it ain't from a Stones album but ya gotta dig Keith's take of You Win Again from Timeless - Hank Williams tribute album. At the start it's so slow like it's going to turn back on itself...then the builds the build into a Stax style work-out..great stuff

Hardly anyone m,entions "How Can I Stop". This has got to AT LEAST rank among the top 10. I would take any Keith song except :Losing my Touch". Hate that song.

I really like "How Can I Stop" too. It almost always gets criticized on here. I also really like "It Means A Lot" - nice rhythm/lead by Keith. Never hear much about it though.

Allright Elmo@!!! I LOVE that tune. I saw Keith and the Winos at the Fox on their first tour. I think it was maybe one of their first showes tooThe encore was "Means a Lot". I'll never forget that. It was like a tsunami coming at us, like this avalnche. The band had been pretty nervous, not very at ease through most of the show. On that tune everyone could tell that all was clicking.

CD, I was at that show too. Lots of fun. I do think that was THe Wino's first show ever. Thanksgiving night 88, I think. Are you going to Atlanta Wednesday? We're coming up from south Georgia.

Hell yeah Elmo. I have a good friend who works for one of those Tix agencies. He always gets me good tix. For the last show I was so close I could touch Keith. This dude is supposed to get us some tix again; so far I haven't heard back from him because he is a HUGE Stonesfan himself and is up in Detroit for the Superbowl.
But if I don't hear from him I will just go down there. I am sure that it will not be hard to find a tix this time around. To be honest I just can not afford another $300 shot. I want to try to get in for ca 150.I am a musician and am poor LOL I am going with this lawyer guy who I know. He is rich and wants to just get as close a spossible; so I;m torn.
Anyway, to answer your Q - yes I am going. I heard that many are all meeting up at Jox and Jills. Are you part of that?

I haven't heard "Love Is Strong" with Keith before now! Great fun, very great! Lot of soul in his vocals.

It would sure be nice if someone who has all the unreleased Keith material to post as a compilation cd.
