There was a true shock how these CD releases turned into beutiful items in about 1990, when The Swingin Pig started.
For instance Hampton 81 was released in 1991, I believe. What a gem. By the way, is VGPs release better in soundquality?

That's cool, too.
According to "my sources" (everytime I say that, I seem to be wrong) Exile Stones was released in Oct. 1991.
Who is that person on the frontcover, you can't even see his face?
:-)

The first one (according to Dieter Hoffmann's "Weissbuch") was "Live in London 1963-65" on Document Records (DR 007) which came out in January 1988

This was a copy of the "Stones at the Beeb" BBC radio programme from November 1985 which included an hour of 'lost' Stones BBC sessions from 1963-1965

Yeah Gazza forgot to look in "Weissbuch" so Document DR 007 is the first Stones CD boot....Swinging Pig followed with Get Satisfaction ... If You Want...very similair BBC material...has 1989 release on rear cover.
