I certainly hope they don't feel obligated to do a duet with anybody. After all, this is The Greatest Rock & Roll Band In The World!

If they do a duet, my tv is going out the picture window.

I find the number of posts predicting Kayne West as a possible duet a bit disturbing. He may be hot now, but five years from now, he'll be a trivia question on 'Cash Cab'!

I´m sure they won´t play ANY of that Allen Klein material.

So it will be 1971 onwards. And they will play safe as always:

Brown Sugar
IORR
Start Me Up.

If they play a new song in a 3 piece set maybe 20.000.000 Americans
will be very, very disappointed. Imagine the whole stadium going for
a p,ss during Rough Justice.

Just heard that it will be aired in the French TV like I suppose in many other countries outside the US and that the Stones should play 10 mn or so. That means they will play JJF, SMU at least. Paint it Black or Satisfaction ? I would say Paint it Black. I will never blame them for not playing an ABB song. It is not a die-hard audience.

I doubt "Oh No" will be there...

"f*cking up my life"....."staring down your tits".....

not going to go over well w/ the FCC....

though, it would be quite a good "dig" on Janet Jackson if they could put an image of her "wadrobe malfunction" up on the big screen as he sings the "tits" lyric...

With "time" being a factor , in between the set up and take down, 1st half game analysis , costly 'commercials' air time during half-time and all ..

I think a "Time Theme" would be ap-pro-pro

So, here's the setlist

Time is on my side

The Last Time

Out of Time

Funny press reports about nervous television executives' and Super Bowl presenters' fear of another "wardrobe malfunction". Uuuuuh. After nipple-gate Some kind of "Neocon-gate" would be nice. Haha.
[townsvillebulletin.news.com.au]

And: Stevie Wonder: "No problem with the Stones". So what.

BTW: The set will last 12 minutes with three songs.

Wanna earn money? Go to a bookmaker´s and
put your bux on SMU-RFD-BS or possibly SMU-RJ-BS;
which by all means are the very essences of Lack of Imagination,
but - esp. in the latter case - would be a hell of a rockin set in
their ultra smart gear. I must stay up Sunday night, alas smiling smiley.

Would love it if they did 'Aint Too Proud To Beg' - their version rocks!

Gotta do JJF w/ Aretha

Maybe a little Brown Sugar or Tumblin Dice to round it out.

Yeah, safe - predictable, but as long as it rocks, so what?

you got to roll me. . . . .

Changed my mind, after some more readin on the subject,
and some more ponderin.
Thery will play SMU, RJ or RFD, and JJF with Aretha.

You´d better go back to the bookmaker winking smiley
