Sorry about the spelling error. It's Stella Artois of course. I have tasted Jupiler too but I don't like it that much. Sure it is ok still. Matter of taste I suppose. Belgium is the king of beer variety of course, just like the Czech Republic and Germany. Too many great beers to mention.

It seems to be a common misunderstanding that the darker and stronger the beer is, the more man you are wen you drink it. Sure I like good ole bitter in England and a stout in Ireland, as well as weissbier in Germany at times, but on a hot summer day in Germany I must have a pilsner, i.e. a lager. Nothing wrong with Stella. Or Becks. If you don't like it then don't drink it. But the fact is Stella and Becks are very popular. Just like Budsweiser in USA. The world's most sold beer. And it's not a female beer. Most men drink it too. It's good, clean, fresh and perfect fresh from the tap on a hot day. Microbrew is nothing for me. It's just a sales gimmick. You might just as well have Newsaster Brown Ale. Beer production rule number one is clean and perfect conditions. The microbrews are not always up to standards. I could write a book or in fact bpooks about beers but that would be after the tour. Peroni. Nazro Azzuri. Grolsch. VB. Gösser. Kronenbourg 1664. Carlton Draught. Nordlandspils. Fuller Pride of London Bitter. ...

Your right, on a hot summer day I rather drink a pilsener "Heineken" or a lot other brands and if I'm in the mood I drink one of the fine Belgium beers.

LOL!!!!!!!!! hahahahhahahaha

Oh well, I've never considered myself a redneck; I just like a few redneck things!!! You can't live in the south and not.

I like Coors as well, and who can't resist that Yankee rot gut, Old Milwaukee...do they even still make it?

And I forgot, which is a shame since I live in Texas, about Corona.....man, that is some major Mexican kick-ass brew....One of those is equal to two or three of anything else!

When I am thirsty, nothing beats a Bavaria tongue sticking out smiley

For taste, I like Duvel, Chimay, Westmalle tripel.

And I refuse to drink "Lite" beers.

Gut, C'mon!! You reside in Texas right??? Let the rednecks rain down baby- you're at home trust me!

BTW- Old Mil is still in circulation, but have you ever heard about the manufacturing process with Corona?? In Mexico be careful in drinking the water if you know what I mean?? smiling smiley

=======Gut, C'mon!! You reside in Texas right??? Let the rednecks rain down baby- you're at home trust me! ======

Right outside of Fort Worth, baby! Theres a kick-ass true-to-life Texas honky tonk down the road from me....I don't go there 'cause I literally don't want to get my cityfied semi-redneck ass kicked, though.

Corona did kick my ass when I was younger. I haven't had it in years. It never gave me the runs, but sure as hell had a major headache the next day.

#......Go ahead....Bite the Big Apple....Don't mind the Maggots.....Uh Huh...#

Light beer night yesterday evenin. Wasnt able to
have my long-longed Westmalle; but I tasted three
wonderful domestic brands: Jämtlands Pilgrim,
Postiljon (same brewery, Jämtland´s Brewery) & Fallen Angel
(co-brewed among some Stockholm breweries & the former).

[www.jamtlandsbryggeri.se] Jämtland´s Brewery´s site, alas only available in Swedish language.
