there are no musician credits listed on that album. However Clapton is on lead on "while my guitar" as is John. Dont know how a guitar part can be "too heavy" for anyone..smiling smiley

Things arent all what they seem with the Beatles. Most people for example would probably imagine that a syrupy song like "Good Night" is a McCartney song, when actually Lennon wrote it.

My source is the excellent "Revolution in the head" book by the late Ian McDonald, which gives the recording history behind every Beatles song - and is one of the best books on rock music ever written

"While my guitag gently weeps."
Geoprge told Eric during a car trip from Surrey to London, that he could not realy play a crying solo he had composed.

George played the acoustic guitar, organ and vocal.
John, El guitar
Paul, Piano, six string base.
Ringo, drums, percusion, Tamburin.
Eric Clapton, El guitar.

Iam McDonald's dead? Bummer. I was hoping he could give the Stones the same treatment, at least for the '60 stuff - "Revolution In The Head" is an amazing, amazing book.

Paul ; "Monkberry Moon Delight"
John: "Across the Universe", "Mother"
George: "Beware of Darkness", "Isn't it a Pity", "All Things Must Pass"
Ringo: "Photograph"
Beatles: Everyone of 'em. I can not say I don't like the Beatles because I'm a Stonesfreak. I love the Beatles.

yes..sadly, he killed himself a couple of years back.

That book really is an incredible and thorough piece of work, however.
