For those of you that like to beat-up on MTs post-Stones work and say he can't write a song. Look at what Sir Paul ahs done post-Beatles. Sir Paul is GREAT, don't get me wrong. But look at the drop-off. He went from being 50% of (Maybe) teh greatest songwriting team ever to........"JEt"..................

You have got to be kidding. Maybe the best songwriting team??? That's hilarious. And he wasn't 50% of the team, he was 95%. The songs the Beatles did in 8 years boggles the mind. They were hands down the entertainment story of the last 300 years.

Paul M- plays to sold out arenas and stadiums worldwide.
Mick T- plays to a few hundred people on a nightly basis.
Paul M- takes a police escorted limo to and from a venue.
Mick T- drives himself to his gig. Vehicle make unknown.
Paul M- Needs Brinks to help him deposit his money.
Mick T- deposits check in drive through versateller.
Paul M- in reasonably good shape for a 63 year old man.
Mick T- bloated like a turkey due to alcohol abuse and is 5 years younger.
Paul M- fan friendly and interacts with audience.
Mick T- couldn't crack a smile if his life depended on it.
Paul M- stood outside the Olympic Fairmount Hotel in Seattle and signed numerous autographs after his recent gig in Nov. 2005.
Mick T- will sign an autograph, but you can see it pains him to do so.
Paul M- has the door opened for him wherever he goes.
Mick T- only person who may open his door for him is a car jacker.
Paul M- elected not leave his band early due to artistic diffences. Reaping millions in royalties.
Mick T- left band early due to artistic differences and not reaping large royalties and it still haunts him.
Paul M- 20 years from now, he will remain an icon and will forever be remembered.
Mick T- will be remembered(by Stones fans) as the dopey guy who quit the band while they were in their prime.

I'll give MT the nod in arm wrestling, hot dog eating and command of the pentatonic scales. There you have it.

Why would anyone say that Paul was 95% of the Lennon/McCartney team? That is just plain wrong; it's not even discussion mnaterial.

You can't compare Paul and Mick T - Paul is pop and Mick T is blues - doesn't make sense.....

The only thing Paul is better than Mick T - except from writing pop tunes (which I think Mick T would be ashamed of doing) - is to sing....

Mick T doesn't have a great voice - Paul has a little bit better, but I still find Paul's voice / singing capabilites way too overrated....

Toker's a CLOWN!!!

Taylor's has meet & greet sessions after his show's and will usually sign anything. And remember, making money has NOTHING to do with musical ability!!!

Something Taylor has plenty of....

MCDDTLC- I am not a clown, but I am married to the bearded lady in the circus.
You get used to the beard when you are in love!
