They put this text on this song to begin a polemical situation and to promote the Album. After that the song is burried. I think mick is not worried about that. If he would, he'll sing it. He names nobody in the song. In 1965 in deutschland he had some gesture a little bit harder than the text of sweet neo con. He needed bollocks to do that at this time.

I hate the Bush Administration but I think NeoCon is only an okay song. They should only push the really good material.

Politics aside...the song is the worst piece of crap they ever released...
The track is a BIG ZERO...Jagger knew it...that's why he chose to put his thoughts and words to it to save it instead of putting them to something good.

ferrante9 used to be a regular at the official Paul McCartney forums.

You don't think Jagger knows a good song? That song is just a gesture to his good frined Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone magazine to keep the coverage and the front covers coming...nothing more than that.
If Jagger really cared about making a statement...he would have clearly said "BUSH"in the song but he is too concerned with real "Bush" to really care Left or Right.
