Mick,Keith,Charlie,& Woody,

Why not dedicate a number for the tremendous Wicked Wilson Pickett tomorrow at the Garden? His legacy is undeniable. You guys could easily pull off a killer version of practically any of his songs and you guys *know* it.

Do the Pickett some justice and breathe some life into something from his songbook just one little last time, pretty baby.

Oh well....here's wishing. And for your Mustang Harry people tomorrow before the show, let's have one big round of drinks for the original Wilson Pickett.

Sincerely,

Charles Baudelaire

Would think Mustang Sally would be the easiest one for them to work up on short notice. Ride Sally Ride....

Yep, Mustang Sally would sound very fine. The Stones need a car song after all! The last one was from "Voodoo Lounge" and "Brand new car". No 60s rock group can survive without a great car song once in a while. I would love to hear them play "Come home baby" or "Teardrops will fall" from Wicked's "In the midnight hour" lp.

And when Barry Manilow dies they can do a version of "Copacabana".

Let the boys stick to Stones material.

Are you joking, MT? Much of the stones' material is covers, always has been, and they've played quite a few that wilson pickett also did versions of.
