Considering keith's total amount of released original compositions in the last decade barely reach double figures, I would imagine the likelihood of him being inspired enough to write an album of country songs would be somewhat remote...

I'd rather hear a Keith and George Jones compilation. They have better musical chemistry and sound similar.

Well Frankie; wasnt out to be picky or so...
Just wanted all the other nerds (´xcept us) on the
board to notice there was something like the thing you asked for.

But the idea is fine, very fine.
I´m not as sceptical as Gazza, though.

Even if Keith
Maybe country formula is easier for him work in,
after livin a quarter of a century in the US,
as we know he´s a keen radio listener...

If Keith made a solo album today would it be similar to his last two? The are mostly rockin' but the vast majority of his solo songs on the recent Stones albums are free form ballady things.

>> the vast majority of his solo songs on the recent Stones albums are free form ballady things <<

well, not really - the numbers Keith sings lead on are not the only "Keith numbers" on Stones albums (nor are they "solo songs" - they're Stones tracks! but anyway).
one thing i find real interesting is that the Winos albums don't include any blues per se, but Keith's done some mighty nice blues singing on "guest appearances".
(a lot of country-flavoured stuff too, of course, which is another thing the Winos never did.)

"What do you want - what?!"

The hard core truth is that Keith is too lazy to do something as cool as an album of country duets.

That would take away from his Rastafarian drunken pot parties down in Jamaica.

I really love the guy but he's lazy.

Thanks Baboon.

Hey Gut. I don't know if Keef to Lazy ro what but it's time to do something special before it's too late. What else is left?
