Early reports from our Detroit operatives suggest Mick and Stevie are going to "wow" the television audience of 100 million by bunny hopping across the stage during Fingertips, Part 2. It will be the stuff of legend.

In all seriousness, that would be awesome. What a terrific idea! Stevie Wonder just released a new album for the first time in ten years or so, and the concert is in Detroit (Motown). Just imagine the Stones and Stevie Wonder tearing the roof off the place doing Satisfaction and Superstition!

For an event taking place in a city with such a great musical heritage, it would be only appropriate to have some 'Motown' in the show

Emminem is from Detriot too. Maybe they could bring him out and Keef can bash him over the head with his guitar.

Stevie Wonder is Playing the Super Bowl. But he is playing before the game .
Seems like our Brothers and Sisters in Detroit didn't like the fact that the Stones were playing in MOTOWN and not one of there own. Raised a big stink about it.

The Detroit Free Press reports that former Lions Coach Stevie Mariuchi is a good bet to join the Stones on stage at the Super Bowl. Hey, it is Detroit.

Hey,

Michigan has turned out a bunch of platinum artists other than Motown...and I hardly bought any of these records.

EMINEM - what can I say - self explanitory
MADONNA - paleeze
KID ROCK - has some good moments...lost his confidence when he last Pam Anderson
BOB SEGAR - good middle America Rocker...no complaints
TED NUGENT - eats too much raw meat

Can you picture any of the above turning out with the Stones at the Superbowl?

My money is still on a 10 minute medley of 5 songs...which they will totally @#$%& up in front of the world...if they haven't been able to get out of Jumping Jack Flash, Brown Sugar or Satisfaction in under 6 minutes in decades...they won't be able to pull it off...

Long SHot Bet: 25:1 Aretha Franklin comes out for Jumping Jack Flash while Jagger promotes the new DVD release of RUTHLESS PEOPLE!!!!

FWIW, the first stones gigs I ever saw, Stevie Wonder was the warm-up band... that was the Sticky Fingers/Exile tour of 71/72.

I think Stevie is a real possibility given that he'll already be there. Plus he has the status and ability to add to the show.
