Much better than the version by that other band!

Hold Back
Rock and a Hard Place
Blinded by Love
3 of the 4 on 40 Lix (except Keys to Your Love)
Sharkks Will Cry
Blinded by Rainbows
It Must Be Hell

Of the older ones I bever liked Empty Heart and Out of Time too much.

T & A,

As one who has been "juiced" many times, I like the idea of this song. I think the over-production or just trying too hard to be current messed it up for me.

The whole damned album is over-produced. It helps to separate the song from the production - if you do that with Juiced you find an oh-so-fine blooze....

Not crazy about any of these, but Back to Zero is the WORST!

Back to Zero
Its only rock and roll
19th nervous breakdown
Feel on baby
Good times bad times
Hearts for sale
My obsession
Sad Sad Sad

Also, I have to stick up for Sex Drive. I really like that song. I think it's sexy it gives me the Jagger fantasies.

Yeah, I know. I really want to like it, but I don't know, it kind of bores me for some reason. That's always my bathroom break song.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

but the studio IORR song is a work of art....

if i can change it from "really don't like" to "don't really like much" i might come up with a few:
Angine
ER the Song
SOL
Much Rather Be With the Boys
Hold Back (but it would be fine without those vocals!)
[LoFL, there must be a couple more i can't find much to like about!
but that's all that springs to mind ... ]

I don't really get into the studio version either. It's the only song I skip on that record.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I get so frustrated by these choices. "Fight", "Dirty Work", "Who's Driving Your Plane, "Heartbreaker", "She Saw Me Coming etc. etc.
Argh!

I like both of these but the live version of Sad Sad Sad is lousy imo.

I'm gonna add 7 more:

Feel On Baby
Cherry Oh Baby
Melody
Might As Well Get Juiced
Dancing With Mr D
Any Way You Look At It
Don't Stop

So far I haven't noticed In Another Land on anyone's list. I like that tune.

ONE:"Rock And A Hard Place" and TWO:"Can't Be Seen" are hideous and cast long shadows over the otherwise underrated "Steel Wheels."

THREE:"Look What The Cat Dragged In" with its annoying sing-songy quality and FOUR:"Sweet Neo Con" with its childish rant lyrics. FIVE:"Highwire" is pretty dreadful along those same lines.

SIX: "Suck On The Jugular" What a waste of space. SEVEN: "I Go Wild" also dragged down the quality of "Voodoo Lounge" and is one of those tunes (see "Cat Dragged In") where one has to assume that Jagger has lost any respect for himself or for his craft. What an amazingly lame attempt at "sexy" and "ballsy." Is that what Mick Jagger thinks the Rolling Stones sound like?

BONUS: "As Tears Go By" is virtually as bad as anything noted above and probably deserves more contempt because people treat it with reverence. What a shame that this, of all things, is what they have elected to dust off...

Moon Is Up (I think this is their worst song ever!)

Hold Back

Winning Ugly

Lies

Hearts For Sale

Lady Jane

Gomper

Someone mentioned Gunface but I think that song kicks some major ass!

I'll give you my 1/13 concert report sometime this weekend after I've recovered from the show! smiling smiley
