I think I read here once that Keith was 5' 10"...

Keith's 5'9" (some older sources say 5'10").
Mick's a little taller, Ronnie's a little shorter, and Charlie's sitting down.
Bill is the one who's about 5'8", as was Brian i think.
i think Stu and Mick T were the tallest Stones.

>> 150 pounds soaking wet <<

not even that much, i bet, unless you throw in a rosewood Tele to make weight.

I know Mick and Keith are 5'10"
Ronnie might be the same or an inch taller and Charlie might be an inch shorter. Mick and Keith's passports were published in an old fan club packet years ago...

>> years ago ... <<
yeah - height does change, though. they *aren't* three inches shorter than they used to be, but Mick *is* now a bit taller than Keith.

but speaking of "years ago" ... here's Keith's ticket from that - ahem - Fordyce Incident in july 1975.
it says 5'10", 135 pounds (they weighed him with his guitar i guess):

and a bit of follow-up by Terry Southern:

Aren't most ALL rock stars shorties?...
I can think of one whom I have read about was over 6': Frank Zappa... Jimmy Page looks like a tall, skinny type (illusion?)...
Any other one, really? Hendrix?

Keith has got to be about 5'10". I got a photo taken with Keith last year and I'm 6'4". In looking at the photo again, it seems that I am about 6 inches taller than him. The photo is not on a website, otherwise I'd post it.

Most rock stars do seem to be under 6 feet, but some of the tall ones that I know of are:

Midnight Oil, 4 of the 5 guys are about 6 feet or taller with Peter Garrett at 6'4".

The Strokes, 3 or 4 of the 5 are over 6 feet with Nick Valensi at 6'4"

Nirvana, Krist Noveselic is 6'7",

Boston, Tom Scholz is about 6'5" or 6"6",

Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood is about 6'5" or 6"6" and Lyndsey Buckingham seemed to be around 6 feet when I've met him,

Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age is 6'4" or 6'5"

Clarence Clemons from the E Street band is around 6'2" or 6'3"

Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers is 6'4"

I believe James Taylor is around 6'2"

They'd be lucky if any of them are 5"8, I've stood right next to Mick and Charlie and I'm 5'6. I had a slight heel on and with Mick, we seemed to be the same height, Charlie, I towered over!

about 6'7 if I remember correctly

I remember reading a few years back in some magazine that Mick Jagger was 5'9 and Jerry Hall was 6'1

Oh these anglosachsians with their mumbojumbo length and weight systems... smiling smiley
Is the noone out there that knows both systems:

! Ft is 30 cm, right? And the " is that an Inch = 2,5?

Can you also explain the weight system for us earthlings, ok... ?

...A very wellknown Swedish Stonesfan that met them many times, and he´s
himself not over 175 cm & he stood taller than all of ´em.
Still, a passport is a passport. Same goes for the document
Lady Sssoul showed us.

we "know" the metric system but we just choose not to use it

FYI

1 inch = 2.54 cm

2.2 pounds = 1 kilo

I bet Mick and Keith are about 5'7, and Charlie is about 5'5 tops. He is tiny.

Finnish, Polish, Swedish & all sorts of weird languages here.
We adjust to you all the time... Now its your turn, right.

Are you serious... Do all Americans knows this...
You do mean Brits/Irish dont you... ?
(Sorry Americans)... Well, well...

Back to topic: Bill is short as hell.
Taylor´s taller but not tall.

no theyre all taller than that. Ive met Charlie and no way is he 5'5. He probably looks small because hes actually quite frail looking close up

According to Keith in "Could Have Stood You Up", "he's five-eight and I'm five- nine"
