Many of you may never have heard of them, but I admit to loving this band.

For the uninitiated, check out their site: [www.dreadzeppelin.com]

For those "in the know", I have to both laugh out loud and shake my head in amazement at their talent everytime I listen to "Heartbreaker Hotel" or their twisted version of "Kashmir".

Yeah, the shtick does get old after awhile, but I always get a kick out of turning on folks to Tortelvis and his bandmates.

Thanks, bassplayer 617. Aren't they great? I've been loving them for years now.

I simply LOOOOOVVVE Dread Zeppelin!! smiling smiley

Saw them play many, many moons ago. One of the most entertaining shows I've ever seen! The singer as Elvis and the guitarists in their g-strings, LOL! All to that reggae beat, and such humour. My fave song is Ballad Of Charlie Haj from the Hot & Spicy Beanburger cd.

I saw them too, back in the early 90's. It was a lot of fun.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

They came to my university in the early '90s and were great. They had concessions (but no alcohol) in the university hall where they played, and after the show I was standing in line and the lead singer, Tortelvis, was standing in line right in front of me. I bought him a chilli dog and some nachos and he devoured them on the spot!
