where were the 78 tour rehearsals?

To pick up on the previous post... What was the story behind the rehearsals? Where were they and what was the state of the band at that time?
Also, I have a faint memory of a concert that was broadcast on TV in Canada around that time. I remember my friends saying that they though Mick was dancing around and pretending to "come on to the males" in the band. I laugh at the memory because we were so young and naive, however, I can't remember the year. It couldn't have been a show from the 78 tour, could it?

there werent any shows from this tour broadcast
not sure what you mean by 'what was the story behind the rehearsals' - they were tour rehearsals, what else is there to know
They took place at Todd Rundgren's Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, NY

during their performance on saturday night live i think mick licked ronnie's lips....are came very close to doing so....
