Hi everybody I mean the original versions. For the time being I remember: (1) “Apocalypse Now”: Satisfaction (2) “The Big Chilli” : YCAGWYW (3) “Bad Fellows” : Gimme Shelter, Monkey Man and You Got The Silver, if I remember correctly. (4) Gimme Shelter again, on another De Niro’s film (I can’t remember it’s title). De Niro impersonates a crazy fan of a baseball or football player.. (5) “Casino”: Sweet Virginia and …something else, perhaps??? (Is De Niro a Stones fan ??) (6) John Carpenter’s “Christine”: everybody remembers Thorogood’s Bad To The Bone , but for a few seconds you can hear “Beast Of Burden”. (7) Moonlight Mile on a s/t Suzan Saradon’s film (I think in 2003) (8) Time Is On My Side on a thriller (I can’t remember anything else). But was it the original version?? (9) Sympathy For The Devil on a Bruce Willis film. He drives a car and says “classic song” or something like that. (10) JJF on a W. Golberg’s film (s/t??) Please, remind me of the rest! And correct me if somewhere i’m wrong. Thanks a lot…
Jerry Maguire - Bitch Vanilla Sky - Heaven Getting Even With Dad (?, not sure about the name in English, saw it in the cinema with my parents about ten years ago - Start Me Up
umm...for #3....it's "GOODFELLAS" dude....and, yeah, Monkey Man and Gimme Shelter are both in it...both associated w/ scenes of cocaine use, abuse, and general trafficking....
I THINK the other Scorcese/DeNiro movie you are talking about (#4) is called "Mean Streets" and JJF is used in it....dunno about Gimme Shelter...maybe you are referring to "Taxi Driver"...dunno about teh Stones in that one...
I don't know if DeNiro is a huge Stones fan, but I KNOW Scorcese is...he almost always has some Stones tunes in his movies...for sure there is something in Casino, but I can't remember right now...
"Interview w/ the Vampire" uses the Gn'R version of Sympathy...
>> 8] Time Is On My Side on a thriller (I can’t remember anything else). But was it the original version?? << you mean Fallen, with Denzel Washington? about Azazel and all that? i don't remember if the original version was in it or not either.
>> 10] JJF on a W. Golberg’s film (s/t??) << what does "s/t" mean - same title? if so: yeah, s/t. :E

with sssoul, yes it must be Fallen. And, yes, "s/t" mean = "same title".
Telek, "The Devil's Advocate" was that film with Al Pacino, wasn't it?
Was "Blow" this film about gangs and drugs in South America? I remember "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" on the first scene of the film, but was it "Blow"?
So "Full Metal Jacket" included "Paint it Black"... I forgot about it.
<Telek, "The Devil's Advocate" was that film with Al Pacino, wasn't it?>
yes ...great film imo

i remember a movie where some friends come to another friends funeral and when their in church the organ starts with ycagwyw and then slowly goes over in the original version. bonechilling. anyone knows the title of this movie?
Many years ago I was channel surfing and came to the end of a movie. As the credits started to roll, Memory Motel came on. Trouble is, I don't even know what movie it was!!! Anyone know?
By the way I just remembered that scene in "The Royal Tenenbaums" in which Margo listens to a strange "Between the Buttons" LP, with "She Smiled Sweetly" followed by "Ruby Tuesday"...
I think that Gimme Shelter was in a movie about Vietnam called "The Boy's in company C".
Also the movie titled: "Jumping Jack Flash" with Whoopie Goldberg.
You also forgot my favorite Stones song in a movie: The movie was "Some Kind of Wondeful", which had the hot young Lea Thompson playing the role of "Miss Amanda Jones"

" The Fan" has sympathy for the devil, start me up (with de niro singing along - hilarious...) also shattered, again with de niro singing, while driving his SUV.
Casino has the live version of sweet virgina from stripped, as well as 'Long Long while', cant you hear me knocking, gimme shelter (a live stripped version as well as the original) A funky cover of satisfaction. Also, Heart of Stone. I used to watch this film all the time, and loved how there were so many stones songs in it. I have a feeling there is a 7th stones song in casino but i cant remember it...
Devils advocate has paint it black for the end credits.

This isn't a Stones song in a film, but a Stones reference.
I was watching this really bad 80's teenage movie on Christmas Eve at like 4:00 am while I was busy being Santa and setting up toys. It's called "Zapped" and it has Scott Baio and Willie Aimes(sp?). At the denouement prom scene, everyone's clothes start blowing off. This kid's pants blow off and he's wearing little underwear with a big Stones tongue patch front and center. Kinda funny.
Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.
Oh crap, I didn't even realize I typed that. Probably because at first I was going to reference Night Shift with Michael Keaton, but saw that someone else already mentioned it, so I skipped it. Thanks for the correction. Night Hawks is a great movie. Always liked that one.
