My number one vote: Kansas City... stones country, rockin' rabid fans in Jesse James' backyard, site of so many memorable stones gigs, coolest city in the Midwest besides maybe Denver... yet where are they ???

Yes, Vancouver! I don't understand why they aren't playing here. It's sort of puzzling how they play the major centers numerous times, such as Boston, Chicago, New York, etc., but they skip other cities all together.
Also, I'm sure they would draw well in Edmonton, especially since there is always a rivalry between that city and Calgary in all aspects. Winnipeg has a brand new arena and I'm sure they would sell out there no problem either.
What about Cleveland, OH? The home of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.... Alan Freed's Moondog Coronation Ball.... Why would they play Columbus and skip over Cleveland? Didn't Keith even make a comment before the tour ended up in Columbus that they would be "heading to the sticks for a while" or something to that effect?
Several arenas turned down the high guarantee Cohl is demanding for the Stones. Such as the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Oakland Arena, Staples Center, HP Pavilion in San Jose, etc...

Are you saying that the arena itself turned them down, OR a local "promoter" who would book that arena turned them down ? Do they deal directly with the arena or with promoters ?

Ah yes, of course.... how did I miss this scoop about Cleveland as it happened? That is a perfect explanation (at least for my city). Thanks erik!

Wrong Baboo, in Scandinavia it's Helsingfors (if you count Finland to Scandinavia that is) so far. They should play Finland because they have almost sold out the olympic stadion three times since 1995. Ok, it would not perhaps sell out this time but they could have played an arena show for the real fans. The Elysée arena outside Åbo would have been perfect for this tour.
As I see it Copenhagen is as overlooked as Helsinki. But you´re right, I forgot the proud Finnish lions capital... Those brave ones can go to Ivan in east, the others to Göteborg. But I pity the cocky Copenhavners that has to humiliate themselves and go to Jutland...
New Orleans by far is the most overlooked. They were premature in pulling the March 11 date from the arena after the hurricane. Turns out the venue is well on schedule to be up and running by then. Perhaps there is still time to work something into the schedule.
As I said in another thread: Toronto! They've only performed there once (hey, the club gig doesn't count! lol) on this tour. Or how about my hometown of Hamilton, Ontario! It's only an hour away from Toronto and would draw huge!!!
