This soundtrack was used by Kelloggs in a Rice Krispies TV advertising campaign.
The 7" contains 2(!) versions of the jingle.

To be honest, I kinda like the song. The harp on it is really good and it rocks.
Despite the lyrics it's a great R&B / Rock 'n Roll song!

Ít would be a great idea to use it as a commercial again. Wonder how much Kellogs has to pay for that?

It would have been a much better choice for the Rarities cd, if only for the novelty of it.....but nobody in the Stones organization has that much imagination.

The Stones recorded the Rice Crispies jingle in late 1963, before they'd had a real hit single. I think it was just a means to earn a bit of extra cash.

However, it's a fantastic rocker with some fine Chuck Berry style guitar

Song was recorded Feb.6 1964. "We were at Pye Studios near Marble Arch to record a TV commercial for Kellogg's Rice Krispies. We invented a short Jimmy Reed style track. We had a good laugh doing it and they paid us 400 pounds too - Bill

Two days prior, the band had recorded Little By Little, Can I Get A Witness and Andrew's Blues. The day before that, the band was on the Saturday Club.

This tune can be found on the DVD set "For The Record" which came out a couple years ago.
