Certainly is. I saw him play with Jack Bruce at Astoria a few weeks after Cream did Royal Albert Hall as part of a tribute show to Dick Heckstall-Smith (at which Mick Taylor also played). He was really excellent (good on the facial contortions as well!). They did four Cream songs - including I Feel Free, which was never done at any of the Cream reunion shows, and a better version of White Room than I heard at either of the two reunions I went to. I just saw the other day that he's doing some shows with B.B.King early next year.

saw him in Belfast (his hometown) as support act for Dylan in June last year.
he was very good and the "guitar face" was very much in evidence!

I'm seeing him next year supporting BB King. I don't care for Gary Moore that much, but it should still be a good show.
