Reading this thread,the word 'DICKHEAD' suddenly popped into my head - I can't think why.

THe initial post makes NO sense. At all. Mick is a very gifted musician. He wrotes some of the best songs of all time. He can play the hell out the harmonica. I'd like to see you have 1% of the talent Mick has. Do u think Mick is able to write all these songs in his head w/out the help of knowing how to play the piano and guitar? No. So what if he's not Keith Richards or Jimmy Page. He's still a great musician.

a guy worth $400-500 million is pretty friggin' good at something.

Macca does not only sing, he also plays bass guitar and other instruments on stage - that's why he is not able to dance around. What do you want Mick to do? Standing still why singing?

Mick also writes the melody too; not just the words. That makes him a musician. And you can't say my definition is too broad then b/c you made the most general definition ever. He also plays bass and drums on a lot of the ABB tracks, as well as a lot of the instruments on other albums, including Goddess In The Doorway. He's a musician, period.

Mick not a Musician? All of that depends on your definition. Is a great opera singer a musician? Is James Brown a musician? Is a drummer a musician? Mick sings and kinda talks through songs. He has amazing timing and knows just how to push a groove with his voice to send the crowds into a frenzy. Could he do that if he couldn't move around and dance? I think yes! When you listen to the tapes of the show and you can't see him his musical powers come shinning thru. Well it's just my opinion and the way I interpret what I see and how I define things. I can say that with out a doubt that I think feel and know that the person who started this thead is a complete and utter moron, Cynical Too!!

Mick sure is both a perforner as a musician, but he's also a @#$%& cause he doesn't announce a Denmark show!!!!!!!

Mick is singer (i.e. frontman) of the Stones so there's no need for guitar solos to him. And yes, he's able to play some instruments. Just care for it and you'll find out. You can even start with ABB (BTW, no need to SHOUT here, we can still hear very well).

yes - the voice is an instrument
