That's bullshit

The Stones did their last tour before I was even born....

Charlie seems to think otherwise.............
Also, being the businessmen that they are, do
you really think the Stones would've by-passed the
marketing bonanza of announcing this was the
"Final Tour", if it were true?!?!?

They never marketed any tour saying it was their last!!!!

When a journalist in Brooklyn 1997 asked Keith if the BTB tout would be their last, he just answered: "Yeah this one and the next five!"

So they can be a bit greedy for money, but not liars for sure!!!!

Sure, this might be their last stadium tour in Europe. They have given up such kind in The US since Kicks. Except if they have a new smash hit

I've seen them on every tour since '89, and every time I've thought "this could be/probably will be the last time I'll ever see them." Surprisingly they keep proving me wrong. And happily so. Don't underestimate them. What's that quote from Keith, something like "we're tough bastards, string us up and we won't die."

I think this will be their last major world tour. They don't tour unless they are guaranteed mega bucks and the seats aren't selling at the prices that are necessary to make their guarantee plus margin for promoters, etc. Shame to see many of the best seats in the US go unfilled, but I don't know of too many people who have the extra $$ to pay USD 450 to hear 20 songs... I'd rather buy 20 CD's personally.

I saw them at Giants stadium and they are playing great, though, with full guitar sound. Mick is magical.

It may or may not be the last tour. It's all conjecture on our part, fans and media.

I don't however recall the Stones advertising any tour as their last.

If you are a pessimist you go to bed every evening thinking you will not wake up next morning. I wake up every morning thinking this is a new day and the Stones will go on forever. Sure I am an optimist. Life is too short to have any worries. And most worries never happen.

They will play as long as they want or until one of them drops, that seems to be the deal.

I don't think it's their last. They still have enough in the ol' gas tank to keep going for a few more years. But I think that the tour dates will be fewer. Just my opinion. smiling smiley

They will just extend this tour as long as they can. So yes, it's their final tour.

the Stones already seem to have, dont they?

Re: you know---its their last tour

I would like them to stop after this worldwide tour and play 2 free concerts at both Hyde Park ( to play tribute to Brian and to the British people who made them
musically ) and Central Park ( dedicated to all the bluesmen and the american people who made the Stadium gigs possible and also the $ ). But this will not happen.
