Elvis was a rock ‘n roll star; Michael Jackson was a pop-star; early 70’s Keith Richards was the definition of a rock-star. Truthfully, I think the term ‘rock-star’ is a little outdated. It worked in the 70’s, when ‘rock’ was king, but not in subsequent decades, in my opinion. I love Liam and Noel; but I don’t consider them rock-stars.

It all depends on, as Stoneage pointed out, when you're born. Now I 've seen Stones and Oasis in the US and I can tell you that Oasis brought lots of beautiful young girls (including my then girlfriend from Cleveland) to the shows and were very much appreciated as the hollow-cheeked-mysterious-only-from-England-Nosferatu's alive again- band. You don't get that from Foo Fighters or Hootie n. The blow fish. Now course nothing beats Stones. EVER. But I'd rather have Liam as Nosferatu in August 96 than Bono as Lucifer in 93 cos Oasis were DANGEROUS. That's Rock n Roll Stars for you. That is why George Jones and Little Walter will always be bigger Rock Stars than freddie mercury or dave gilmour. It's the DANGER Babe

I saw the Struts open for Foo Fighters and they were great. Sure its a pure early Queen rip off, but hey its not like Queen is able to do that anymore.

Never heard of them and as an avid (early) Queen fan I had a listen. I can hear the Freddie resemblance. But to me, they sound more like George Michael.
