Very surprised nobody has posted this yet, made headlines everywhere. He surprised everything, even the band he played with.

Wow, powerful stuff, Keith still free from the "rust" ! Generally his guest appearances have taken place when he hadn't toured for a while so were often a bit "shaky"...not here !

Get this man back on the road ASAP !

Keith sounds great !!!

You think so ? Really ?

We're obviously hearing different things. To me, he sounds perilously close to being out of tune !

I try not to forget that we still have Keith in our lives. When you look at him at 20 and think he'd still be doing this at 80... we are so lucky.

I was just waiting for some feedback like that ! grinning smiley grinning smiley grinning smiley It had to come !

But no, truly. I don't think he sounds great at all. He sounds like Keith sounds these days, but the word great doesn't immediately come to mind, not on the basis of the few seconds on offer in the clip ! I stand by what I say, he sounds perilously close to being out of tune. Maybe it was a couple of note "slurs" that particularly grated ?

Keith's always been "perilously close to being out of tune" ...it's part of the charm
...and, as the saying goes "...it's close enough for Rock N Roll " winking smiley

I'll take the wax out of my ears, apply my best concentration technique, and listen again .............

It starts at 23 secs into the clip, until the end. A bit grating on my ole waxed-filled lugholes anyway !

It must have been rough for your ears everytime Keith took a lead the last 62 years, Pauly! winking smiley

Well, very often it has been, you are absolutely correct ! grinning smiley

Still love him though, but for me he's the rhythm king. With the exception of some occasional fills here and there, Keith and lead ? Forget it !

Never mind the excepted few notes from that guitar solo, it is the energy that Keith puts out in his playing that is a joy to see and hear.Keith is still rocking hard!!

Keith looks and sounds engaged, which is great!

Did James Burton play at all? An impressive 4th Hall Of Fame induction for the 85 year old. He was already in the Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, and Musicians Hall Of Fames.
